Photography

|
My long professional experience in photography allows me to say
that we are far from replacing all the traditional photographic
knowledge with comptuterised (digital) cameras.
|
|
Moreover, even the most advanced technology digital cameras need
the optical elements of the traditional cameras which transfer
the light and create the image on the photosensitive circuits.
|
|
So the focusing on an object is still following the traditional
optical rules, and the depth of field remains, constantlly, under
the control of the lens' aperture.
|
|
As you can see, I speak about photography from a technical viewpoint.
The context of the photography is independent of the "tool" used
to take the photograph (whether traditional or electronic)

In this site, I will try to give you some information about Photography.
You will find a page with general information about the commonly
used cameras. Another page provides a visual representation of
how the "Shutter" works, and a third page explains how a lens
can focus on an object, and how we can optimise the focus by using
the aperture.
